Tankan is a cultivar born from a natural cross between Ponkan and Navel. Certainly, if you taste it carefully, you can feel the deliciousness of each ponkan and navel.

Japanese citrus fruits are really rich and there are various kinds, but I think that the taste of this tankan can be felt directly when it is made into juice.

I heard various stories from mahimana, a tankan producer in Yakushima . The harvest is already over and it's the last tankan of the season. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the sun of Yakushima.
