Rhubarb and Paprika is here again this year!
We have created juice made from ruby-rhubarb from Sun Friend Farm in the Yatsugatake region of Shinshu and pesticide-free red peppers grown by Yamanobe in Kyoto!
The ingredients are ruby-rhubarb, red peppers and apples.
Rhubarb is a rare vegetable in Japan, but it has long been popular in Europe and the United States.
In addition to being rich in vitamin C and potassium, it is also packed with anthocyanins, which are said to be good for eye fatigue and farsightedness!
Red peppers are particularly nutritious among all peppers, and in fact contain twice as much beta-carotene and vitamin C as green peppers!
The pigment component "capsanthin" has strong antioxidant properties and increases good cholesterol, and is also expected to improve lifestyle-related diseases.
When made into juice from both fruits, the color is surprisingly vibrant, and the refreshing acidity of the rubir burb and the fresh aroma of the red peppers are brought out perfectly in the juice, so we hope you will give it a try!
