SunshineJuice Lab Kyoto has been closed for renovations since the beginning of September, but the 1st floor juice bar has reopened for business from September 13th.

On business days, you can enjoy freshly squeezed juices and our special "juice salad" from 8:00 to 16:00.

We especially recommend visiting between 8am and 10am, when the morning sun shines in through the large windows and you can feel the vitality of the vegetables.

A new space called the "New Energy Center" was created on the second floor.

A space where pure energy gathers, resonating in your heart and making you tremble, allowing you to share that feeling with everyone.

Exhibitions and events will also be held from time to time.

We also hold an organic vegetable sale and a monthly community composting day.

5 minutes walk from Sunshine Juice Kyoto Lab!
With the cooperation of Honen-in Temple and the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, a compost station and community garden have been created on the grounds of Honen-in Temple.

At the end of each day's business, you can bring in the day's food waste and compost it all.
In the garden on the same premises, which is mixed with compost made from juice pomace, you can sow seeds given to you by friends, harvest summer vegetables in the morning, and then take them to a shop just a five-minute walk away to be made into juice (it's a jungle in summer).

It's great that kids can join in on the composting and garden maintenance on community composting day!

This simple, visible miracle cycle is only possible in this location, where the town (store) is so close to the soil.
The space loop is something that anyone can understand and it feels great.

The next composting day is scheduled for October 19th, when we will be making bedding and sowing seeds (is that too late?!) Please come and join us!

We are extremely grateful to everyone at Honen-in Temple and the Honen-in Temple Forest Center who has supported this activity, Professor Kentaro Noda of the Institute for Global Environmental Studies, and everyone who has been involved with us!!

If you are interested, can give us advice, or would like to get involved even on days other than composting days, please stop by Kyoto Lab and have a drink of juice!
