"Can you taste it? Can you feel it?" new moon note November 2024

The November new moon has arrived. This month's special juice is a seasonal citrus blend . From this time of year, Japan really becomes rich in citrus fruits. I love traveling to various places and tasting the unique citrus fruits of each place, and for this month's special juice, I will deliver a special juice that is a blend of various citrus fruits to you. Personally, my favorite juices these days are "Jabara" from Saga Prefecture and "Naoshichi" from Kochi Prefecture. Both are vinegared mandarins, but when you taste them carefully, you will find that their unique flavors are very delicious, fresh, and give you energy from within. I'm sure there are still many citrus fruits that I don't know about, so please let me know if you have any recommendations! If you have any, please let me know via Instagram DM or other means.

The other day, a friend invited me to listen to a cymbal performance. The performance was amazing, and it was an experience that allowed me to feel the vibrations of the sound that spread in a small space with a limited number of people. After the performance, while I was basking in the afterglow, I was talking to the artist friend who had invited me to the concert, and something he casually said made a big impression on me.
"Whether it's a sound or a food, are you really able to taste it? Are you able to feel it?"
Although the performance looked very simple with many things stripped away, it was a profound experience, and the sound appealed to various senses, not just hearing, by concentrating on experiencing it. As he said, how much can I, the "receiver," feel and receive it? If I put myself in that position, I would be happy if I could provide an experience that not only makes you healthier through the experience of drinking juice, but also reminds you of the "feelings" you get when you drink it. So, try some rich citrus juice from autumn to winter and feel the difference in its taste and aroma. And through this experience, I once again heard an episode from Roger McDonald, author of "Deep Looking," who I previously interviewed on Juicy Talk. Please listen to this as well.

As we have already announced on social media, Sunshine Juice Kyoto Lab. has opened as a new store and manufacturing facility in Jodo-ji Temple, Kyoto.
This place serves cold-pressed juices made from seasonal plants, with each customer's juices "prescribed" to suit their tastes and needs (taste, physical condition, etc.). Hot drinks, soups, and juice salads are also available. As a manufacturer, we produce and package a variety of seasonal products and deliver them to customers nationwide, mainly through our online shop. In addition, 369 Shoten, an organic greengrocer that we are familiar with in Kyoto, will occasionally hold sales of organic vegetables from the surrounding area.

We have a space on the second floor. We hope to be able to hold exhibitions, events and other things that will help you live a more "Juicy" life. We have a variety of events planned for November, and we think they will all be great, so please come and join us.
We hope that this place will help you get closer to nature and live healthier, purer, and happier lives, and that this energy will come together and resonate to give you hints for a better future. Please stop by. For more information about the Kyoto Lab and its schedule, please follow us on Instagram @sunshinejuicelab .
